Lean Concepts in Transfusion Services Program Overview

Program Description

Lean is not just for manufacturing! Though they are best known for forming the basis of the Toyota Production System (TPS), over the last several years, Lean concepts are being integrated in healthcare with great success . No matter the industry, processes are everywhere and every process can be improved by applying some of the fundamentals of Lean. Learn about concepts that can help you and your transfusion service move forward in your continuous improvement journey.
